Implicit Curves

The Story:

Implicit Curves is about the moment when reason quietly steps aside.  You see someone, maybe you know them, maybe you don’t.  And the world narrows. Thought thins.  The weight of the day dissolves.  What remains isn’t language or intention, but sensation.  The imagined closeness of their body, the heat between two people standing a little too near, the gravity that pulls without asking.  It’s not love, and it isn’t fantasy.  It’s the brief, disorienting silence where instinct takes the lead and everything else fades.

The Lyrics:

She moves like a shadow in the neon glow,

Every step she takes makes my heartbeat slow.

Her silhouette dances in the afterglow,

I’m drowning in waves where the wild winds blow.

Lost in her curves I forget my own name,

The world spins around but I’m stuck in her flame.

She bends like the willow the wind calls her game,

And I’m just a whisper she’ll never reclaim.

Her laughter’s a melody sharp as a blade,

Cuts through the noise where my memories fade.

I’m chasing the echoes that darkness has made,

But she’s always gone when the light starts to shade.

The moon don’t shine where she’s already been,

The stars all bow when she’s wearing that grin.

I’m a fool for the way that she moves in the din,

But I’d lose it all just to see her again.

Lost in her curves I forget my own name,

The world spins around but I’m stuck in her flame.

She bends like the willow the wind calls her game,

And I’m just a whisper she’ll never reclaim.

Lost in her curves I forget my own name,

The world spins around but I’m stuck in her flame.

She bends like the willow the wind calls her game,

And I’m just a whisper she’ll never reclaim.
